Anthony Rizzo homered and drove in three runs as the Cubs held off visiting St. Louis yesterday, 6-5. The series at Wrigley Field in Chicago continues this afternoon.

Jeff Hoggan scored twice and set up another goal as the Griffins eliminated visiting Abbotsford from the AHL Calder Cup Playoffs last night, 5-3. Grand Rapids won the best-of-five Western Conference Quarterfinals, three games to one, and will face either Texas or Toronto in the semifinals, beginning next week.
