HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - It's time to clean up and to make up in Holland.
The clean up is the city's annual Spring Cleaning, where residents are asked to rake yard waste to curbs and shoulders for crews to pick up over the next several weeks in advance of Tulip Time. The make up is the annual budget discusssions ahead of approving a new spending plan for the upcoming fiscal year that begins on July 1.
During an appearance on WHTC's "Talk of the Town" program on Mar. 26, 2014, Holland Mayor Kurt Dykstra discussed both matters with host Juke Van Oss. The video is here; go to the podcast tab for the complete audio of the Mayor's monthly visit.
