GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) - After a second three-day weekend, jurors in the Ryan Wyngarden double-murder trial return to the courtroom of Ottawa County Circuit Court Judge Jon Hulsing this morning for day nine of testimony. There was a procedural hearing involving the admissibility of evidence scheduled yesterday. Attorneys for the 52-year-old Zeeland man are attempting to put reasonable doubt in the jurors’ minds as Wyngarden is accused of shooting his sister Gail Brink and her husband Rick at their Park Township home in 1987. Court observers believe that final arguments and jury deliberations will come before week’s end.
