UNDATED (WHTC) -- Today is Diabetes Alert Day and the Michigan Department of Community Health encourages Michigan residents to take and share the Diabetes Risk Test for their own health and that of their loved ones. Angela Minicuci of the MDCH says you can’t start testing too soon. She says Michiganders really do struggle with a number of issues that impact diabetes, including obesity. Diabetes Alert Day is designed to get people thinking about the risk factors that they or their family might have and what they can do to prevent diabetes.
