MADISON HEIGHTS (WKZO) -- A Madison Heights company has developed a new way to fix bone-jarring potholes on metro Detroit roads. Spray Patch Road Repairs developed the process that works better than the standard repair of using a "cold patch."
The new process calls for drying the pothole with air, then using an adhesive product along with asphalt. They top off the fix with stone and the cured product lasts much longer than other repairs.
The company says their fix is more expensive but they expect to be working in a number of communities over the next several months.
