LANSING (WKZO) -- Count Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley among state officials who are getting behind the idea to scale back Michigan's legislature to a part-time body. Calley sent out an email to supporters backing the petition drive, and saying he will vote for it if the initiative makes the ballot. He noted he proposed a part-time legislature in 2009 along with Congressman Justin Amash and Michigan Republican National Committeeman Dave Agema when the three were serving together in the state House.
