HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- Wednesday night’s Holland City Council meeting heard many residents talk about an amendment to the Pet Fowl and Backyard Chicken Ordinance. Mark Vanderploeg presented the two options under consideration for the amendment. After more than an hour of discussion, which included opinions from the audience, it was agreed that there should be some changes to Option 1before it’s presented for a vote. An amendment to the graffiti ordinance was recommended by Sue Harder of Community and Neighborhood Services Department. Council voted to accept the recommendation and it will be put to a vote sometime in April.
