HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The Holland City Council holds a procedural first reading on three ordinance proposals during tonight’s meeting, but won’t take a final vote for two weeks. If passed, the new laws would mandate a five-day window for graffiti cleanup by victimized property owners, allow restricted keeping of poultry in residential areas, and clarify street performer guidelines in the 8th Street Marketplace. Council meets beforehand with Holland BPW board members to go over bond issuing for the new electric power plant.
