DETROIT (WKZO) -- About 145-thousand people in Michigan have signed up for health insurance plans under the federal health care law.
According to the Health and Human Services Department, 45-percent of enrollees are men and 55-percent are women. The critical 18-to-34-year old group accounts for 26-percent of enrollments. The largest segment in the state is the 55-64 year old group making up 32-percent of enrollees.
Open enrollment ends on March 31st.
