KENOSHA, WI (WHTC) - Hope College's first loss in women's basketball in the winter of 2014 is their last.

A 15-point deficit early in the second half proved to be too much for the Flying Dutch to overcome in a 72-67 loss at Carthage of Wisconsin on Saturday night in a second-round NCAA Division III tournament game. Michelle Wenzel dominated the contest with 18 points and 14 rebounds for the Lady Reds (26-3), who also shot nearly 50 percent from the floor. Brittany Berry had 16 points and Maura McAfee added 14 with 16 rebounds in a losing cause for Hope (28-1).
