UNDATED (WHTC) -- The mid-term General Election is scheduled for November 4th and a new candidate has filed to run as a Democrat in Michigan’s 2nd Congressional District. Retired business executive Dean Vanderstelt believes that Washington is broken and says that his experience can help him fix the problem. One of the things he says needs fixing is the stalemate of just pointing fingers at each other. Vanderstelt says his biggest thing is, "in this economy, an awful lot of people hurting, and "the situation needs to be stabilized." At this time, no other candidates have announced for the primary. If that remains the case, Vanderstelt will face Republican incumbent Bill Huizenga in November.
