HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- The Hope College Flying Dutchmen have earned an at-large berth, meaning they will have home advantage to begin the NCAA Division III National Tournament. The first opponent is Penn State Erie-The Behrend College this Friday at DeVos Fieldhouse and game time is scheduled for 7:30 P.M. Wheaton, Ill.will face Rose-Hulman, Ind.at 5:30 p.m. in the other first-round game. The fieldhouse will not be cleared after the Wheaton-Rose Hulman game. Winners will then play each other at DeVos Fieldhouse on Saturday, March 8, at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale Wednesday morning and will cost $10 for reserved seating, $7 for general bleacher seating and $5 for college students with student ID and youth ages 3-18. Children 2 & under are free.
The unbeaten Flying Dutch head to Wisconsin for the first round of tournament play. Carthage College in Kenosha is the host site and the Dutch take on a familiar opponent, Wisconsin Lutheran, on Friday, March 7, at 5 p.m. CST. Friday's winners will play on Saturday at 7 P.M., also at a time to be determined. Ticket information is expected to be released on Tuesday. Tickets will be sold at the door one hour before the game. They cost $6 for adults and $3 for students
