UNDATED (WHTC) -- The Holland Township Planning Commission should get some answers to questions being raised over a proposed truck stop planned for Adams Street, just east of I-196. Several variances have been applied for on the 13 acre area by Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores. The Planning Commission’s staff has done a study on traffic issues in the area and is expected to make a recommendation to the Board on Tuesday night. One issue of concern is the fatal crashes that have happened near the Tulip City truck stop, also just off I-196, on M-40. If a preliminary plan is approved, other approvals would still be necessary from several government agencies.
