UNDATED (WHTC) -- The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is looking for a few good frog and toad surveyors. In the hope that spring will arrive one day soon, the DNR needs volunteers to assist with the Wildlife Division’s annual Frog and Toad Survey. Citizen-scientist volunteers across the state will be assigned a survey route containing 10 wetland sites. They will be asked to visit each of the sites three times during the spring, when frogs and toads are actively breeding. To volunteer for the 2014 Frog and Toad Survey, contact Lori Sargent by email at http://SargentL@michigan.gov or by phone at 517-284-6216.
