DETROIT (WKZO) -- The stepmother of a twelve-year-old Detroit boy who was reported missing for over a week has been arrested.
Authorities say Monique Dillard-Bothuell was taken into custody Thursday on a probation violation. Dillard-Botheull is reportedly on two years probation for a misdemeanor gun charge and when police searched the family's home recently, following reports that twelve-year-old Charlie was missing, they discovered a gun.
Charlie was found in the basement of the family's home on Wednesday after being reported missing on June 14th. Two other children, a four-year-old boy and ten-month-old girl were removed from the house by Child Protective Services.
