WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKZO) -- Proposals for General Motors to compensate the victims of crashes from its ignition switch problems will be unveiled Monday in Washington, D.C.

GM has hired victim compensation expert Ken Feinberg to oversee the program. He has handled the funds for 9/11 victims along with those from the Boston Marathon and Virginia Tech shooting.

To date, 13 people have died in crashes linked to the faulty ignition switches, and GM has recalled 2.6-million vehicles.
