HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity unveiled a 5-year $1.2 million fundraising initiative that will engage corporate, city and civic leaders in neighborhood revitalization on Wednesday morning. The nonprofit used the backdrop of the 141st project since their inception in 1989 as the setting for the announcement. Agency Executive Director Jack Zandstra was pleased that the effort is being built on the foundation of about 450 thousand dollars already collected and/or pledged so far. Lakeshore Habitat’s goal is the impact the lives of at least 100 families with this initiative, which would double it’s current capacity.
