DETROIT (WKZO) -- The grandson of the founder of Detroit's Faygo pop company is suing the company claiming age discrimination.
70-year-old Hugh Rosenthal filed suit in U.S. District Court last week claiming he wouldn't have been fired from his marketing position two years ago if he had been younger. Hired in 1992, Rosenthal was the third generation of the family that founded the business in 1907.
In the "Detroit Free Press" Rosenthal says "I took so much pride in my work, knowing Grandfather would be proud of me. And this is the thanks I get after 20 years? That's outrageous!"
