UNDATED (WHTC) -- Three local communities are supporting a millage increase for the Holland Historical Trust. The Holland City Council and the Park and Holland Township boards of trustees each received a visit from the Trust’s Executive Director Chris Shires last week. Shires said that putting the millage request on the ballot was approved unanimously by all three communites.
The communities have provided some bridge funding that goes into effect for the Trust in July. The fees for K through 12 students will be waived during the period of the millage, which will last for four years. The millage request will be on the November ballot.
