ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI (WHTC) -- Human trafficking is on the rise, even in West Michigan. In an effort to raise awareness, Allegan General Hospital will host a seminar on the subject this coming Monday, June 23rd. The organizer of the event and a member of the Michigan Women’s Commission, RN Mary Whiteford said she hopes the seminar will help people to more easily define human trafficking.
