HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Tips are being sought as to who may have torched a vacant home on 14th Street near Harrison Avenue in Holland just before midnight on Sunday. It was one of two house blazes put out by Public Safety firefighters in a 90-minute span just several blocks apart, and investigators are convinced that this was an intentional act, as the building was vacant at the time for renovations by an unnamed landlord, and there was no electrical or gas service at the time. A reward of up to five thousand dollars is being offered by the Arson Tip Line at 800-44-ARSON; leads are also being taken by Holland Public Safety and through Silent Observer (877-88-SILENT; http://mosotips.com). The other house fire, off of 11th Street near Pine Avenue, is still under investigation, but the two blazes are not considered to be related.
