Early this morning, an 18-year-old local man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after he was stabbed by unknown suspect.
At approximately 12:45 this morning, Holland police officers arrived at the 00 block of W 16th street after reports of a fight. Upon arrival, the officers found the young man had suffered a single stab wound in his back. Two suspects had already fled the scene on foot and were last seen running west. A canine team searching for suspects was lead to the area of 17th and Pine, but had no luck. Witnesses described the suspects as black males between 16 and 20 years of age, both with curly black hair. One suspect is believed to be wearing an aqua colored hat, gray hooded sweatshirt and khaki pants. The other suspect was said to be wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and khaki pants.
