HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- The Home Energy Retrofit pilot program in Holland was launched in May. The program’s goal is to determine the effectiveness of energy saving measures when applied to local housing. A team of certified energy auditors will conduct a thorough on-site evaluation, producing a cost-effective plan to improve energy efficiency. City Manager Ryan Cotton says that 65 applicants have been selected. A question and answer open house meeting takes place at City Hall on Wednesday, June 18th from 4 P.M. until 6 P.M. Applicants that have been accepted are encouraged to attend. Those still considering an application are also welcome to take part.
