HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Input and output are on the agenda for the Holland Planning Commission. During this evening's meeting, the panel is expected to go over a request to formally vacate public streets and right-of-ways in the vicinity of 5th Street and Fairbanks Avenue. This is the site of the new power plant for the Holland BPW, with demolition of buildings already underway. In the study session before the meeting, planners will hear a presentation from Elisa Hoekwater of the Macatawa Area Coordinating Council on a proposed Non-Motorized Plan for the Lakeshore. Public comment is being taken through July 1st, with a target date of July 28th to submit the proposal before the MACC's Policy Committee for approval.
