WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKZO) -- Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mark Schauer is expected to get some significant advertising help from the Democratic Governors Association. The DGA is setting aside six-million dollars for ads in Michigan in October. Schauer is trailing incumbent Republican Governor Rick Snyder by roughly ten-percent in several recent polls, and the website FiveThirtyEight.com puts his chances of winning the election at 19-percent.
