HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- During Wednesday night’s Holland City Council meeting, an ordinance amendment was approved for light industry in what is now a retail commerce zone. Mark Vanderploeg, of the City Planning Commission, said that there are some special requirements when amending an ordinance for an already established zone. A small assembly company made the request so that they could move into a vacant office building on 29th St. City Council approved the amendment. The resolution to approve the 425 agreement between the Holland BPW and Holland Township was also approved.
