GRAND HAVEN TWP., MI (WHTC) - A 27-year-old Muskegon Heights woman suffered critical injuries in a two-vehicle crash before dawn south of Grand Haven.
Princess Warren was flown to Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital after she was knocked unconscious by the force of the collision at the intersection of 172nd Avenue and Comstock Street. She drove through a red light and her car was broadside by the pickup truck of 59-year-old Donald Richardson of Grand Haven, who was taken to North Ottawa Community Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Steve Austin, Warren was driving without turning on the headlights of her car, possibly because items reported stolen from the nearby Meijer store were recovered in her vehicle, and a woman matching her description allegedly took those items shortly before the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
