UNDATED (WHTC) -- More than 50 citizens attended Wednesday night’s League of Women Voters- Holland public forum for candidates vying for the 89th District House of Representatives seat. Incumbent Amanda Price and the challenger, Matthew Wiedenhoeft fielded 34 questions from the audience. The question, “What would you change in Lansing?” elicited laughter from the audience. Price said she would like to see term limits in a different format. Wiednehoeft said that he thinks part-timelegislators are the way to go.
The candidates and the League of Women Voters remind everyone to vote on August 5th even if the only things you’ll be voting on are proposals.
