UNDATED (WHTC) -- Summer seems to have suddenly disappeared again, with a cool front leaving high temperatures in the upper 60s in its wake. Winds have also changed direction and the National Weather Service has issued a Beach Hazards Statement which is in effect until 11 P.M. this evening. High wave action is expected with waves reaching eight feet in height and rip currents are a possibility. The area included in the statement ranges from Ludington to South Haven. The Lakeshore will see temperatures staying around the 70 degree-mark with the possibility of showers and thunderstorms in the forecast through Wednesday.
