ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) - The bottom line continues to be strongly black at Gentex. The Zeeland-based specialty parts maker reported quarterly net sales of 338.4 million dollars, up 18 percent from a year ago, while earnings of 52 cents a share, coming to 76.7 million dollars, was 47 percent better than the same three-month period of 2013. Company officials told shareholders and investors in a conference call this morning that a variety of factors, including the acquisition of Homelink, led to the growth.
