HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- The monthly Holland Board of Appeals was well-attended on Thursday night. The owners of Bullet Hole Firearms and Training, Ben Phillips and Dave Burns, were there to plead their case. Many people, both for and against the proposed gun range, were on hand. Jim Chiodo of Park Township argued for the gun range and asked for a clarification of C-1 zoning.
One of those opposed to the gun range noted that most of the people in favor of it did not live in Holland Heights. After hearing from both sides of the argument, the Board of Appeals denied the variance.
The Board also discussed the graffiti ordinance.
