ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC) - The issue of allowing off-road vehicles on unpaved county roads will be discussed by the Allegan County Board of Commissioners during this afternoon’s biweekly meeting. Proponents say that there is a lack of ORV trails in West Michigan and claim that tourism will benefit from opening up local roads for four-wheelers. The county’s Parks and Roads Commission are against the idea on safety and liability concerns. No decision on the matter by the Board is on this meeting’s agenda.
