HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The Holland Planning Commission holds a special meeting this evening, primarily to set up public hearings for August 12th on two matters. One is to amend the city code dealing with excessive service calls, a rental restriction overlay district, expansion of the Hope Neighborhood Rules to more of the city, and reducing the number of unrelated individuals in a dwelling unit from six to four. The other is to alter the laws involving graffiti and murals after Escape Ministries asked to have artwork remain on their 32nd Street building that was done by youngsters in their programs. The current regulations are meant to compel property owners to clean up vandalism.
