The 46th Annual Riverbend Steam and Gas Association Show goes on today until 5 P.M.  The show is located on 56th Ave. about 1 ½ miles south of M-45.  Admission is five dollars per adult and children under the age of 15 get in free.  More information can be found at http://riverbendshow.com

 

An annual summer picnic for those with special needs is coming up this afternoon and Minister Doug VerHoeven says that while the picnic is designed for those with special needs, everyone is welcome.  The picnic takes place at the Fulfilling Life Ministries on 143rd Avenue just south of the Tulip City Airport.  The festivities get underway at 3 P.M.

 

Democratic candidate for Lt. Gov. Lisa Brown is scheduled to be in West Michigan later today with stops in Fennville at the Allegan County Dems Picnic around 2:30 P.M. then traveling to Grand Haven to attend a Meet and Greet with Sarah Howard for Senate, Dean Vanderstelt for Congress, Doug Zylstra for County Commissioner and Don Munski for County Commissioner.  The Meet and Greet takes place at 601 S. Beacon Blvd. and begins at 4:30 P.M.
