HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - After yesterday’s spike of around a quarter, gas prices along the Lakeshore stood at a near-uniform average of $3.65 per gallon. This morning’s survey of Holland-area stations showed a 15-cent hike from last Friday, but motorists were paying 28 cents more per gallon at this time last year. The spike from around $3.40 arrested a 53-cent slide in a nearly three-week-long skid that was due mostly to increased crude oil inventories. Triple-A’s daily polling had marks of $3.59 nationally and $3.63 statewide, down four and seven cents, respectively, in a seven-day span.
