ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC) - A scheduled preliminary hearing today in Allegan District Court for a 15-year-old Hopkins boy charged as an adult in the murder of his 21-year-old cousin last month has been postponed. Joshua Lee Keyzer is undergoing a mental examination to determine if he is competent to stand trial. He allegedly stabbed Kassandra Keyzer to death at a home in Bradley and wounded his grandmother in the knife attack. Investigators haven’t yet disclosed any motive in the case. No new date for such a hearing has been set.
