UNDATED (WHTC) -- Records reveal that the at-fault driver in a wrong way fatality crash on Wednesday evening has had several driving infractions since 2007, the most recent in May 2012 for failing to stop for a school bus. Police believe that 32-year-old Heather Ann Luke of Nunica, was headed westbound on I-96, entered an emergency cross-over lane and ended in the eastbound lanes going the wrong way. Her vehicle ran head-on into a minivan, causing it to burst into flames and killing the now identified 52-year-old driver. Capt. Stve Bennett reports that the driver pronounced dead at the scene of the accident is 52-year-old William Alfred Foster of Wyoming, Michigan. Luke is still in Spectrum Butterworth Hospital and listed in grave condition. There is no word of any pending charges as the investigation continues.
