Tigers, Cubs Finish Off Sweeps; Sox Avoid Brooms

UNDATED (WHTC) - Torii Hunter had three hits and drove in three runs as the Tigers swept visiting Oakland out of Comerica Park yesterday, 9-3. Detroit hosts Tampa Bay to begin a four-game series this evening. Coverage on 1450 WHTC begins at 6:40 PM.

Justin Ruggiano had three hits, including a homer, and drove in three runs as the Cubs completed a sweep of the Red Sox in Boston last night, 16-9. Chicago visits Washington tomorrow evening.
