HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- The ordinance amendment that will allow alcohol to be served in certain public facilities in the city of Holland is now a done deal. This was not done without some dissent from city council members and city residents. First Ward Councilman Mike Trethewey has long been opposed to the idea and that has not changed.

Two other members of the Council, Nancy DeBoer and Todd Whiteman, also voted against the amendment.
