UNDATED (WHTC) -- Counties along the Lakeshore are facing another winter weather watch, which goes into effect in the early morning hours of Saturday. The National Weather Service is forecasting that Western Michigan could see an accumulation of up to twelve inches in some areas. The watch will be in effect through late Saturday evening. This system has a lot more moisture in it, which means snow will be heavier to shovel. Also, the high water content of the snow will put additional weight on already stressed flat and low pitch rooftops. Authorities are asking motorists to once again limit their travel after the snow starts falling.
