ANN ARBOR (WKZO) -- The University of Michigan is ranked in the top ten public universities in Princeton Review's list of "Best Value Colleges." U of M is the only university in the state to make the top ten. The colleges listed are, according to the Princeton Review, doing a good job of helping students earn their degrees without going broke. The average in-state tuition for an undergrad at U of M is just over 1,300-dollars with grants to freshman increasing and tuition increases remaining stable at around five-percent or less.
