Lakeshore Catching Breath Before New Wave of Wintry Weather

HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The Holland/Zeeland area is catching its proverbial breath from the latest salvo from Old Man Winter before another Arctic blast arrives.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow is in effect through 7 AM Sunday, as up to three more inches may fall, with winds of up to 30 miles per hour. This is on top of nine inches of snow that fell in some places along the Lakeshore on Friday night/Saturday, and 14 inches in various spots on Wednesday night.

National Weather Service forecasters say that another strong front is expected to move through West Michigan on Sunday evening, with more lake effect snowfall, and temperatures well below freezing through most of the upcoming week.
