LANSING (WKZO) -- The state's Mental Health and Wellness Commission has a newly released report looking at the way Michiganders look at mental health, developmental disabilities and substance use disorders. "Improving the Quality of Life by Supporting Independence and Self-Determination" offers comprehensive changes to treatments. The commission reached unanimous agreement on nearly five dozen recommendations for changes. The issue has been promoted by Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley.
