UNDATED (WHTC) -- A traffic accident just before noon on Saturday sent a 66-year-old Zeeland woman to the hospital with minor injuries. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department reports that Lucille Ammerall went through a red light on Felch Street and was broadsided by a vehicle that had the right-of-way in the southbound lanes of U.S. 31.
Ammerall was pinned in her vehicle and was extricated by Holland Township Fire Rescue. She was taken to Holland Hospital and is listed in stable condition. There was no indication that the driver of the other vehicle, 20-year-old Spencer Collins of Holland, his wife Laruen and one-year-old son Liam suffered any injuries.
