HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - After a weather-related spike last week, Lakeshore gas prices have fallen back to levels similar to those of a year ago.
According to this morning’s survey of Holland area stations, the average cost for a gallon of self-serve regular stood at $3.29. There was a wide range of rates seen on marquees from Saugatuck to Hudsonville to West Olive from a low of $3.21 to a high of $3.39. The mean is 16 cents below that of last Friday, and a nickel less than what motorists were paying at this time last year.
Triple-A’s daily polling of stations had more modest week-over-week declines of one penny nationally to $3.30, and four cents statewide to $3.31.
