UNDATED (WHTC) -- The fundraising efforts of a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate have been pretty successful. According to Lansing-based MIRS, Terri Lynn Land reported that her campaign raised $1.66 million during the fourth quarter of 2013. During her first reporting cycle during the third quarter, Land reported raising a little more than $2-million with half of that amount coming out of her own pocket. Land’s Democratic opponent, Congressman Gary Peters has consistently raised more than $1 million each quarter that he’s been in the race and is expected to post another strong number for the fourth quarter of 2013.
