Eidson Leads Dutchmen to Victory at Calvin; GVSU Splits in Ohio

UNDATED (WHTC) - Alex Eidson’s 23 points helped Hope College win at Calvin on Saturday, 71-63. The Flying Dutchmen visit Albion on Wednesday night, with broadcast time on 92.7 The Van and http://927thevan.com at 7:40 PM.

Hope’s women were victorious on Saturday, disposing of visiting Adrian, 71-52, as Maura McAfee spearheaded the winning effort with 21 points and 15 rebounds. The Flying Dutch entertain Kalamazoo on Wednesday evening at DeVos Fieldhouse.

Grand Valley State split a basketball doubleheader in Canton, Ohio against Malone, with the men winning, 87-74, behind 17 points from Luke Ryskamp, and the women’s falling, 69-52, with Sydnee Penn tossing in 21 for the hosts. The Lakers are in Marquette to face Northern Michigan in another women’s/men’s twin-bill next Thursday evening.
