No High School Games on Tuesday; No Hope College Contests on Wednesday

UNDATED (WHTC) - Due to the weather, the entire high school boys and girls basketball schedules were wiped out last night. Hear the Unity Christian at Zeeland East boys’ basketball game this Friday evening at 7:10 PM on 1450 WHTC and http://whtc.com/listen-live.


The MIAA has pushed back all scheduled basketball games from tonight until tomorrow evening due to the weather, including the Hope Flying Dutch’s visit to St. Mary’s, and the Flying Dutchmen’s contest with visiting Trine that will air on 92.7 The Van and http://927thevan.com, beginning at 7:10 PM.

In state major college basketball last night, Michigan State defeated visiting Ohio State, 72-68. This evening, Western Michigan hosts Toledo, Central Michigan entertains Miami-Ohio, Eastern Michigan travels to Bowling Green State, Detroit visits Cleveland State, and Oakland is home to Wisconsin-Milwaukee.


The Chicago Blackhawks welcome the New York Rangers to the United Center tonight.

Catch the Detroit Red Wings’ game in San Jose tomorrow evening at 10:10 PM on 1450 WHTC.


Carmelo Anthony scored 34 points as New York beat the visiting Pistons last night, 89-85. Detroit plays in Toronto this evening.

Taj Gibson tallied 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, leading the Bulls to victory over visiting Phoenix last night, 92-87. Chicago heads to Milwaukee on Friday evening.


The Grand Rapids Griffins are home to Rockford at Van Andel Arena tonight.
