ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI (WHTC) -- The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that, officially, 51 incidents were handled by Patrol Deputies on Tuesday. On Monday, Deputies were called out to more than 60 road incidents. Captain Frank Baker says there were many additional incidents not counted in the totals. Numerous vehicles got stuck or slid off the roadway and Deputies assisted many of those drivers on their way to calls that had actually come through Central Dispatch. Baker also said that Fire Rescue was a big help blocking intersections and at traffic crashes. Additionally, the Sheriff's Office would like to thank the citizens who stopped to help fellow motorists who were stranded and stuck.
