Heavy Tuesday Prep Basketball Slate Along Lakeshore at Risk of Weather Cancellations

UNDATED (WHTC) - Weather permitting, a full slate of high school basketball games was to be on tap along the Lakeshore tonight. Hear the Muskegon Catholic Central at West Ottawa boys’ contest on 1450 WHTC and http://whtc.com/listen-live, beginning at 6:40 PM, or the Hartford at Saugatuck boys/girls doubleheader on 92.7 The Van and http://927thevan.com/listen-live, starting at 5:10 PM. Other boys’ match ups include Zeeland East at Tri-unity Christian; Zeeland West at South Christian; Lawrence at Fennville; Black River at Fruitport Calvary; and Calvary Schools of Holland at Algoma Christian. On the girls’ side, it’s Zeeland East at Plainwell, South Christian at Zeeland West, and Calvary Schools of Holland at Algoma Christian.

Games cancelled due to the weather include the boys/girls doubleheader between East Grand Rapids and Holland Christian at the Holland Civic Center, along with games between Holland and Northview, with the boys in Grand Rapids and the girls at the Dutch Dome, and Hamilton's games versus Grand Rapids Catholic Central - boys in GR, girls in Hamilton.

State major college basketball this evening finds Ohio State at Michigan State. Due to the weather, both of Hope College’s games on Wednesday night have been pushed back to Thursday, with the Flying Dutchmen hosting Trine at 7:10 PM on 92.7 The Van and http://927thevan.com/listen-live, and the Flying Dutch visiting St. Mary’s in South Bend.

NBA action tonight has the Detroit Pistons in New York and the Chicago Bulls hosting Phoenix.
